Default ziroli P-51 Electric

I am building a ziroli P-51 and am converting it to electric,my main question is... do i still need to set the firewall / engine mount wall down and to the right as you do for a gas engine? has anyone else done this conversion? any tips or tricks would be appriciated.

Same setup as you would with a fuel engine. If it's built into the firewall then you are fine, otherwise you need to add it using the engine mount. Most of the electric engine mounts can be adusted for this.

I have an Easytiger Fw190 as a large electric.  The motor is great.  You need to set up right and down thrust exact the same as gas.  In my plane it is built into the firewall.

You will need something like Hacker A80 ot the HK clone.
For batteries you shall look for 12S 10.000mAh and 170A ESC
You can drop a call to Espritmodel. They are helpfull (helped me as well).
As well you can look on Mick Reeves Spitfire page. There are 2 conversions of his spit which is rougly same size and weight as Mustang http://www.mickreevesmodels.co.uk/~m...its/p4spit.htm

For mounting the engine - just mount it same way how you would the gasser.
There is a extensive build of P-51 on RCSB

Good luck!
