Default Hangar 9 1/4 Scale Cub

I recently recived this plane in a trade and the engine cowling was removed. Question, what is the proper method of reinstalling the cowl? The only option I see is to remove the carburator velocity stack that is mounted to the carburator on the stock Zenoah engine. Am I overlooking the obivous? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

A picture of the front of the engine/plane is worth a thousand words, but it could be that the orignal cowling could have been a two piece to fit around the stack and muffler, or there were holes big enough to fit the stack & muffler through.

I would guess you have a G26 on that airpalne, and yes you have to remove the velocity stack, no big deal

The best way is to split the whole cowl front to back. Its quite a popular mod especially with some of the bigger gas airplanes. Basicaly you can remove the top of the cowl and leave the bottom in place.
