Default What is this worth?? Bud Nosen P51 Kit

I have a Bud Nosen P51 kit, unstarted, from A&A Industries NIB. It is complete, has Canopy and I am including a fiberglass lower cowl. All the instructions and plans are there, the wood is very nice, even includes fixed gear wires. Problem is I don't have any idea what to ask for the kit. Don't want to ask too much for it but also don't want to give it away. Thanks for your time.

List it on Ebay with a reserve price that is the minimum that you will accept. Dan.

I thought about Ebay but I seem to have a better luck on RCU. Of course then you have to know what to ask on RCU.

The A&A kits are worth about 1/2 of an original Nosen kit's value, due to the quality of the wood used by A&A.

That is interesting because a friend that has built a couple bud nosen kits said the aa kits where better. I don't know either way, I have looked all through this kit and the wood is very nice. I put it up on RCU and will see what happens, if the price is too high I will lower it. Thanks for your input.

A buddy of mine bought one at a swap meet for $75 a few years ago but you don't see too many of them around. I would ask $200 for it.

These usually go online in the $200-$250 range for model sites and swap meets, $250.00-$350.00 range on auction sites.

I have one NIB that wood quality is not Sig level but better than some other name brands. Built a Citabria several years ago and wood was excellent.

It will sell as someone is always looking for them.

I built one years ago and still have it. I also picked one up last year at a swap meet for $100...but people were probably a little more "tight-fisted" with there money last year. The wing was framed up but it also had the 6" "Nosen Spinner" included and a nice, new canopy. I saw one last week at the Lebanon PA flea Mkt. I think it was marked ~$450. I did not see it sell. I agree with above...~$200-250 is probably the "selling price". Maybe a little more with extras like the glass lower cowl.
