Default Sullivan Skylight wheels on Robo Struts

Ok I'm using the 4.5" Sullivan skylite wheels with aluminum hubs on a set of Robart 672 offset struts. The Tire not clearing the off set and is rubbing against the side of the strut. I can put spacers on it but it looks like it will need over 1/3" and the axial bolt isn't going all the wall through. Think I can get by with a longer axial bolt and spacers or will I need to go to a thinner tire?

I have this same problem on my B-25. The solution was just what you stated...I have 3 nylon washers and a longer axle. This has worked great for more than 3 years with no problems. I am also using Sullivan wheels.
