Default TRU TURN or Dave Brown Spinners?

Hello Everyone,

OK, TRU TURN or Dave Brown Spinners?

Which do you prefer?

Do you like another brand?

I have to order a few and figured I should ask for some opinions

Thanks

Joe

I have both and I like both. Subtle differences in weight, machineing, appearance and price( for me) is the deciding factor in any project/application. However I make my own now out of hyper active calcium composites. You get farm house brown eggshell weight but with the strength, durabilty and shapeability of a zero gravity molded titanium blank. Super lightweight and they are self balancing!

Well Joe,

I've used plenty of different brands of spinners over many years, and I gotta tell ya, there isn't a better spinner made than Tru Turn!

My Stearman, it will be painted as the Pepsi Bipe, has a small blunt spinner, probably difficult to get from other sources.

Tru Turn, "Off the shelf!"

Made in the USA, can't do better than that.

Tru Turn graphics. Designed by me, sold by me! Can't do better than that!

OK, now ask me about landing gear!

If you're into painting or carbon fiber, I have found Pete's work well and light weight www.petemodel.com/spinners_ult.html, aluminum, TruTrun is the way to go. I have found that expensivenormally end's being the cheapest over the long haul. Keep in mind you are placing your body in front of it every time you start your engine..

I have very good luck over the years with Dave Brown spinners. The cost is good and I get them custom cut for the prop I am using. TruTurn are also very good.
