Default smoke tank set up

Hey guyz, does it cause an issue to set up a two line system for smoke using a "T" to fill? I don't know if sending smoke oil to the tank will also cause the smoke to push it's way thru the pump and into the muffler during filling. I am currently using a sullivan fueler but I don't like it and want to go to a fuel dot simple method if possible. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, John

I use a TME smoke pump with the setup you describe without any problems.
when the pump is off,it does not let any smoke oil through so it all goes to the tank.

Thanks for the info, that helps a lot. How do you like that TME smoke pump? I'm thinking about trying one.

It works fine.I run a 6.0v nimh 2000 mah pack with it and use
a Perry remote needle valve adjuster to control the amount of smoke oil to the
muffler.Use a on/off switch on my 9c to turn it on/off and have a mix programmed in to
turn it off below 1/4 throttle.

It depends on the pump, but MOST pumps (even the cheap generic windshield washer pumps like I use) will, indeed behave as you describe, and allow you to use a t-fitting for filling just fine.  Best idea is to check it first before installation. <div>
