Default Fat Winged Edge

I picked up a badly "damaged in shipment" ARC Edge and put an 18 1/2" x 82" rectangle (no taper) constant chord wing on it. It's kinda like one of the Blings from a couple years ago. I have a DL50 in it. This is a pic of it getting a GC check on my Vanessa CG machine (which I love) just beffore the maiden flight. <div></div><div>The maiden was uneventful. Plane was very stable with good low speed characterics but it was really too windy a day for a good test. The CG seemd a little forward. It currently set at 30% MAC. Inverted flight required absolutely no forward pressure for level flight-something I was totally unaccustomed to. What does that say about the CG???</div><div></div><div>I was curious if anyone else has tried anything like this-putting a non-tapered wing on any 50cc size fuselage - and what were the results?</div><div></div><div>Thanx in advance for your input.</div>

Rfabbre, Here's an image of a plane I designed for a Brison 3.2, about 50cc. The wing area is 1300 square inches. It has a NACA0019 airfoil. The CG is at the 30% point. You can't beat a constant chord wing for good flight characteristics as you have found out for yourself. I know that the IMAC guys fly around at 35% but that's not for me. With no down presure on the elevators it is telling you that the CG is in the right place. Dan.
