Finally got the left side of the of the fuse closed up. Added all the tri-stock for added strength, then the outer sheeting. Added the forward cabin post and the side stringers.

I have not updated this thread in a while. Got some more work done on the front end. Instead of trying to bend a solid piece of 1/8" over the top, I used the shiplap method and it worked out good.

Got the forward fuse sanded and shaped, and checked cowl fit. So far so good.

Decided to use the spruce strut materials supplied in the kit. Got them shaped.

Wing tube sleaves glued in and I also installed some tubes for the wiring.

I have not posted any updates in a while, but there hasn't been much to post. I did get some work done on the landing gear though. I built some struts to replace the stock Robart struts. They function very well so far. I'll now more once I can put the full weight of the Cub on them.

Got started on the tailfeathers again. Made a jig to drill the Robarts in. Got the holes drilled in the stab and elevators and added hard points for the tail brace wires.

Got the stab finally glued in place, with -.5* of incidince. I also spent some time on the fin and rudder. I added extra material for the hinges, got the hard point in on the fin, and made the rudder hinge drill jig.

I used Sig koverall and it took about 7 Sq yards of it. I hope this helps
