Ecomrc 100" Stinson SR-9
Here's a few pics from maiden day. I have a thread in the arf forum but there is no interest there. I'm really enjoying this one, its a very nice flyer. Very well built plane, typical hardware issues with the stock stuff. Powered by a G-38, flys very scale like. Not a rocket ship by any stretch, a real floater and very stable.

Hey gliderman Im almost finished my 108. Very easy build you will have to replace thepushrods with Dubros the chineese stuff snaps when you try to Z bend them. I think I may have to add nose weight even using a PTE36. Ill get pics out soon ,.

Scaleman,
Congrats on your 108 build. That was fast. So, hey, let's not steal this SR9 thread I'll be looking for your pics on a fresh thread in this forum, and I'll post some of mine there, too. Can't wait to hear how you like it after the first flights!

Hi,
I´m from tb-model Spain, we have built this airplane one month ago. Very Stable, and very easy to fly. We have used our RCGF 32cc, and it´s enough for this airplane. We have added 150 gr on the nose. We have doing one video of the first fly. I hope you like it...

Great video, glad to see at least one other person out there with this plane. Have you tried the flaps yet? They really slow this thing down to a crawl.

RE: Ecomrc 100
Thanks a lot, Mpizpilot,
this airplane flies very very well. We don´t have tried the flaps, because we have not needed it. We will try them, for slow flying across the flield... you only must be care with the CG.
( sorry for my english)
Alberto

RE: Ecomrc 100
I need comments from owners of the Stinson about the covering. I'm trying to find out if I just got a bad one or all ecomrc are like this.
I am in the process of building the Laird-Turner LTR-14. The covering on the plane is CRAP. I have ironed the entire plane twice. The first time up to 250 degrees to get the wrinkles out. After a few days it had completely wrinkled again BADLY. This time it took 300+ to get a lot of the wrinkles out. Anyway, the plane looks horrible. In 20 yrs it's the worst looking ARF I've ever had. What a disappointment for a plane that cost just under $1000!
