Default Anybody making Giant Gee Bee R1/R2 Composite/ARF/BNF?

Hey all. New to the site and thanks for having me
I'm looking for a company making and stocking a Gee Bee R1/R2 Composite/ARF/BNF kit with a wingspan over 70". I need a project for the winter and am having a hard time finding anybody with such a kit. I'm not looking for a stick-built kit rather something that will move along faster.
If anybody has a direction to point me towards, please let me know.

So far I have found:
http://www.nitroplanes.com/geebee40.html (out of stock for ??)
http://www.raidentech.com/geebee12arfa.html (out of stock for ??)
Hobby King 1.20 (not stocked in USA and not shipped from overseas)

Thanks in advance

Jeff

This 1/2 scale Gee Bee composite plane may be over the top, and it will require some wood work.

The kits that I know out there for builders are the Byron Gee Bee and the Jack Devine Gee Bee. They can be found , http://www.ironbaymodelcompany.com/i...es/Vintage.htm

Wow
I'm not having any luck finding a kit anywhere. All sold out or companies out of business.

Thanks but with my skills I prefer a composite kit. Scratch built seems WAY out of my league.

Ram-bro,

You mention Jack Devine... is he still in business selling kits. I know his website is still up but I have never been successful in getting in touch with him. I am interested in his smaller 72" Corsair.

Thanks,

Lars

When it comes to Jack Devine,,buyer beware.
This comes only from my experience and about 10 others who sent him money for kits only to have" Mr Integrity" disappear from the face of the earth……….
Just saying……...

It is hit and miss with Jack Devine. I have received excellent service when ever I have worked with him. I have bought kits directly from him and from the market place. Don't know if he is still in business. Good luck. Kits are still out there.
