Anybody making Giant Gee Bee R1/R2 Composite/ARF/BNF?
Hey all. New to the site and thanks for having me
I'm looking for a company making and stocking a Gee Bee R1/R2 Composite/ARF/BNF kit with a wingspan over 70". I need a project for the winter and am having a hard time finding anybody with such a kit. I'm not looking for a stick-built kit rather something that will move along faster.
If anybody has a direction to point me towards, please let me know.
So far I have found:
http://www.nitroplanes.com/geebee40.html (out of stock for ??)
http://www.raidentech.com/geebee12arfa.html (out of stock for ??)
Hobby King 1.20 (not stocked in USA and not shipped from overseas)
Thanks in advance
Jeff

This 1/2 scale Gee Bee composite plane may be over the top, and it will require some wood work.

The kits that I know out there for builders are the Byron Gee Bee and the Jack Devine Gee Bee. They can be found , http://www.ironbaymodelcompany.com/i...es/Vintage.htm

Ram-bro,
You mention Jack Devine... is he still in business selling kits. I know his website is still up but I have never been successful in getting in touch with him. I am interested in his smaller 72" Corsair.
Thanks,
Lars
