Built from your own plans? What are the specs? Tell us more! I've always liked the little Cassutt.

It has 65" ws. It's a seagull models arf. Built song and fairly lightweight. Currently running a 15x7 prop on 15% fuel.

Cassutt's are awesome. I didn't know they made a 33% arf of them. Where did you buy it?

I ordered it from sig that ordered it from seagull in Vietnam. Had to wait about 3-4 months for it to show. As of now it's not sold in the usa...but they said they would carry them in a few months..that was in april. You can contact sig and order any seagull plane...you'll just have to wait for it on a ship..lol

All control surfaces are prehinged and are scale. The control horns are glued in place and fiberglass. Only 2 things bugged me. The canopy sunk in a little from the sun making it to hot and the cowl is a pain to put on. However hides a engine inside with ease. You can' see the ys 1.40 in it.

I have one on the way now from the UK. Shipping was crazy but I didn't want to waite till April for it. Undecided on the engine currently. I was thinking of using a ST 1.40 since I have a few laying around.

I ordered mine from Morris Mini motors in the UK. They actually had it in Stock. It cost me $575 shipped FedEx freight and took 4 days. I have since changed my mind on the power plant and installed an OS33GT instead.

Nice looking plane! I am considering it as there is one in stock at a local supplier.

How much does yours weigh ready to fly?

Thanks!
Rudi
