Default Ziroli Twin Beech build

Hey all, just recently bought a kit. Purchased a z beech d18 kit from national. I see there arenít very many build threads for them so figured Iíd start one! Hopefully I can generate some beech d18 feedback from you guys. I will be putting g38ís on there, from what I read these require a fair bit of nose weight. This was part of my reasoning behind the zenoahs, just happened to run across a pair on the classifieds too. I will do my best to keep up on build pics as soon as the kit arrives and my new build table is done.
posted a similar thread on regroups so hopefully I can keep up with both!
built me a new work table to go along with another giant scale build

Thanks!
gear and kit finally arrived! Though being a dummy I forgot to order the plans kit. Went ahead and ordered everything else with the plans, with any luck Iíll be able to start building next week.

Fuse is on its way. Tail gear and gear servo mounted. Need to grab a pull pull kit so that I can finish up the tail wiring. All leads will be run to the back prior to sheeting obviously.

Thanks Tony,
Itís moving along nicely. Few issues here and there with the lasered parts but overall an easy building bird.

Sheeting is looking good, do you plan to glass the plane? The airfoil really looks thick on the angled side view, just how thick is it?

Yes glassing is the plan. Airfoil will be a 5.25Ē with sheeting. The saddle is quite a bit larger than the airfoil itself.
