Hi all, thanks for you advice. Actually I don´t realy understand why a Hostetler Jungmeister (1/4 scale) fits better to saito radial r3 84cc than a 1/3 Jungmeister from Arizona. Anyway, Arizona told me, that their 1/3 Jungmeister is to small for my engine. So, I am looking for a Jungmeister with 2,4m (95 inches) or somthing similiar. Thanks Volker

Check with Gary Allen, Arizona sells his plans as a kit..
You'll get the right answer from him.

Does anyone Know Ken Spears aka Big_Bird?
I haven't heard from him in a while and I sent him an e-mail and no reply. Starting to get worried about him.
Later!!

I talked to him a couple years back. Remarried and happy as a guy could be. I'd like to know he is okay too. Lost my email addresses.

Default Bucker Jungmeister

Hi everyone!
I'm looking for a smaller kit (balsa) - preferably not a short kit - of this beautiful model airplane Bucker Jungmeister.
But, it only exists up to 1/6 scale...
By any chance, does anyone know where I can buy one?
Greetings
Walter (Brazil)

Question,
Has any one here ever got a kit from Arizona Models?
They have a 1/3 Allen bucker kit in stoc. I was wondering about the Quality of the kit etc. Years ago they had a bad reputation. But that was a long time ago..
Any feed back would be appreciated.

I am building the 33% Jungmeister now. It is a very early kit and virtually every piece that was laser cut for the fuse is cut wrong. Some do not match the outlines and others have the wrong size and/ or location notches for the stringers. Wing parts were all pretty good. I understand they improved on later kits. I got my from an individual that never started it. Glass work is decent.

P47flyer,
thank you for posting. I guess I could ask Jamie of azm if his kits are correct now. That would make sense.
Since you are in Suffolk maybe I'll get to see your finished plane next year at a fly in. I'm up near Fredericksburg.
again thank you for the response.

P47flyer,
Do you think a Moki 180 would fit in the cowl?

Something I'm curious about. The Allen Jungmeister cowl is too small for a Moki 180 yes? But the Paleo Severin Jungmeister is not. Both are supposedly 1/3 scale.

OK thank you for the reply. If the 450 fits then then FG 90 should fit too.

Sam,
You mean to say there is no information on the plans about the throws?

Recently purchased the 1/3 scale Gary Allen Jungmeister plans and came across this thread which dates back quite a few years.

Not sure if anyone still watches this thread but was wondering who cuts short kits for this plan?

I see that Arizona Models cut kits in the past wondering if the reported issues with the kits have been corrected

Saw a post that perhaps Gary Allen is on this site. Does anyone know how to reach him?

Hi you can contact me at [email protected] we have made some huge changes in the last few years. You can also contact me any time. We have also started a line of fiberglass cowl and fender sets in almost every scale. I hope this helps. My number also is 602 971 5646

Default Restarted after 15 years silent

Finally restarted building 1/3 Bucker after hibernating from the hobby for the past 15 years or so. I have the fuse half finished and wings almost done. In the mean time I bought the seagull Bucker to fly and practice on last year. It was so badly built and designed it crashes over 8 times before discovering they had the landing gear moved back 3 inches from where it should have been. Now it flies great and is a real joy to fly l. The engine was also grossly under powered and moved up 20 cc to a 41cc US engine. I discovered several weak areas in the Seagull Bucker that I may be carrying over building the Gary Allen Bucker like the building in of aluminum wing support tubes. This took many hours to accomplish but I saw the benefit in reduced crash damage in the Seagull ARF. Wing tubes seem to be the rage in numerous ARF's these days
