The pic with the servo is the pic of the flaps, or not? Because they are hinged at the outside of the wings.
Yes that are the flaps, it is a nice sight to see the movement of the flap, in and out of the box.
I am now busy with sheeting the last wing sides so next week I can start with the fuse.

For Tinus Nielsen:
I have yesterday done the last test on the engine and with the homemade velocity stack (see picture in previous post), I am now result in 7100 rpm with a Mejzlic 24x10 not so bad I think.

Regards,

Ruud.

Hi Alex,

I am now finished with the wings, the last thing is to sand the panels. I have made a long sanding blok for that job.

I have got a few free days now so I hope i can get a start at the fuse.

Groet,
Ruud.

Hi all,

The past week I have been busy with the fuse and with the tube fore the reso.

I wanted the reso tube inside the fuse but this was not possible because of the place of the wing tube. So I put the reso tube underneath it.

I have not the space under the wingtube for the complete tube so I placed a section of the tube.

Regards,

Ruud.

I am now busy with the cowl.

It looks great your work, I see, you are a modeler of the good old scool [sm=thumbup.gif][sm=thumbup.gif][sm=thumbup.gif]
These locks yo can buy ready, but you make them by your self !!!!!!!!!!

Hi Bernie,

After careful consideration I have sold the Waco.

I have got aprox 25 nice flights with it but the transportation in my new car is so much difficult than before that I have to make that step.
I have sold it for a nice price so the pain is a bit less.
I have got a great building time and one season of great flying pleasure so I can live with it.
I hope it wil fly much with the new owner.

The new flying season I am planning to take the Bulldog Pitts more to the field, also a great flyer.

Hi Ruud,

I only can repeat it, you are a 1A modeler of the "good old scool", good work[sm=thumbup.gif][sm=thumbup.gif][sm=thumbup.gif]
IsnĀ“t it possible, to turn the engine about 180Ā° that the sparks are hanging down? Than the spark plug and the cable is not so visible
When we can see pics fuselage mounted with wings?

Hi Bernie,

No that's not possible, the exhaust ports need to be undersite......

I put chrome sparkplug caps on it I think that's looks oke.
I finished the cowl and put folie on it. Just for the picture I placed the spinner and prop.

The weather is so bad in Holland, so no flying but only building this long Easter weekend.

Regards,
Ruud.
