First 27% setup!!! What servos to use!!!
Hi Guys,
I am setting up my first 27% Extra 330S and not sure what servo brand to use, Hitec, Futaba or JR. In the past I have used Futata S3010 but got a lot of flutter from these servos. The instructions say to use at least 90oz/in, so my first choice would be Hitec HS-645MG. Is this a good choice?
Also will Hitec servos work with a Futaba reciever?

In term of servos the MG series from Hitec will work fine. Be aware there is a new line out that is seeing great success from modelers and the price is amazing to boot. The HD line of servos available at Troy Built Models are awesome. They also can be found at HobbyCity.com They are great bang for buck pieces
Your Hitec servos will work fine with your Futaba RX's and vice versa. No worries there
Congrats on the big Extra, I love mine from WildHare thats about the same size.

really, if you can afford the well known brand of servos buy them and forget the cheapies. to me the best servos are JR .
