Default Fairchild 24W

I was looking at the new plans on the Wendell Hostetler's site, the Fairchild 24 R looks nice however are there any plans around for a large scale 24w?

Great radial project

Hahaha no, no that's plenty big enough. One is a inline motor the other is a radial.

The plans are for the R & W.
The plans show both, and both cowls are available...

I will now go back under my rock.doh

Helps if I look a bit harder. Thanks for pointing that out.

I think I should order some plans.

Try this on 144" wing span. Radial or ranger engine.

I have the Hostetler plans. They look good to me, and I hope to begin construction in the near future.

The plans are nice, but older in design. I considered them, but decided on the Hostetler plans.

Thanks Tom, you will have to keep us posted on your progress. If I had the time I would love to build the Luscombe Phantom.

I built the 1/4 scale by Graham Smith. Very nice flying plane and very scale just like the fullscale.

I love that airplane (Phantom)! I'd like to build one with the Stanavo Oil NC7734, serial # 109 red bird color scheme! The 'N' number was chosen so that when the aircraft flew over its competition (?) the wing numbers would read- h-e-l-l! I have started plans in 1/4 for this airplane. It's absolutely lovely.

Fairchilds are available in many color schemes. Any ideas, presently?
