Default Balsa USA Stearman

Thought I would post a few photos of the Stearman I just finished. It's modeled after a full scale 1943 Stearman that belongs to a friend of mine. Painted with Aerothane and Solartex covering. Has a Moki 250. Waiting on scale flying wires from Aeroscale in Europe. Mike

Hey!

You can't fool me. I know photos of the real airplane when I see them. [sm=bananahead.gif]

Great job!

You're gonna like that combo. This is Keith Coovers Busa Stearman with a moki 250. Nothing sounds finer than that engine and nothing looks finer than a fly by. This plane consistantly wins pilots choice or best of show at our warbird and big bird events.

Its a popular plane at local events. That engine runs so smooth that we asked him to run it at idle to rock the pilots to sleep at night. I just love the sound of that engine.

Still waiting on the flying wires. I should have them next week. Thanks for the compliments. I have flown the full scale twice, it's located only 20 minuets from my house. Mike

Upgraded tailwheel with use of 4th axis, much more scale looking now. About ready to get my Stearman back out and finish her up!

Thanks,
Buzz
