Precedent Aeronca Champ 1/4 scale

I've always built ARTFs (dozens of them) but I've seen this discounted locally. How hard would it be to build from scratch for a first timer ?

i agree. buy a kit first. its a lot of wood that needs to be cut to scratch build.

I think he was referring to building the Precident kit as actual "Scratch Building". Very easy kit to build by the way.
