Ercoupe, switches
 

My Ercoupe is at the radio installation stage.
I'm wondering where to put the radio and ignition switches.
I know a few BUSA Ercoupes have been built, so where did you put the switches?
I'm thinking of uder the front seat, not much room there.
Or, build a hidden hatch in the side of the fuse.

What have other s done?

On the rear deck, inside a small "box" that looks like a briefcase. That's what I did when the Ercoupe first was released.

I wish I had that plane back again...

Would like to read the one you did on the ercoupe.

I was thinking of putting the switches on the dash, along with the digital tach and the data recorder for the Spectrum receiver.
The dash boards on most older planes have been upgraded, so there's very few 'scale' dashboards left.
