Scale Retract Manufacturing

Hello everyone! I’m sure this question has been asked many times, so point me elsewhere if needed. Who is making scale landing gear for all these large scale kits now? Of course there’s Robart, but it seems they suggest one specific type for multiple applications. I do have several airplanes with Robart gear. Century Jet was in business, but now closed. I have a couple airplanes needing scale retracts, and the search is becoming exhausting. Any info is appreciated.

Thanks,

Alex

Avoid shindin machine. The assembly practices and materials are very poor. They use bolts that are far to short, no bushings between the trunnion pivot shaft and the aluminum side frames, plus many other issues.

Sierra Precision makes a robust scale gear for most giant scale projects. The gear is not cheap, but the quality is exceptional IMO. You may have to wait to get what you order, but I don't think you will be disappointed with what you get.
