am building a huge hostetler Cessna 182 to scale out after my real 182. Cutting parts on my cnc. I bought it 5 years ago for this and never did it till now. Been doing 3 d cuts on it. Jacked to finally be doing it.

Nice work. Just curious how longer did it take to convert the drawings for CNC?

Yes impressive work. I've been thinking of getting into CNCs myself for a Hostetler Cessna 206, which has the same wing span.

Curious about methods you can use to trace parts from the drawings. And also if you have any tips for ensuring a good fit for the parts. Trial and error I suppose...

I use vcarve pro and brought in the tiff file and then did the image trace and then you have to separate all the parts and go through and straighten the lines that you’re going to use to cut and get rid of the rest
