quick question

Hello all
I have 1/3rd scale GasBiplane that I bought used, It needs to be recoverd but all the guys at the field say I should fly it first, My question is for theRX batt, All I have right now are 2, 4.8 volt batts one is 1100Ma and one is 1700MA they are new and in great shape if I run both of these into my reciever will it be safe to fly a couple of times ? Im using a DX6I Radio with the dual recv. this would be a scale type flight no Areobatics what do you think?</p>

Batteries are cycled 2 times a month they are out of a plane I currently fly the batteries are in great shape. they are less than 3 months old and I use an accucharger/ cycler

RE: quick question

The 1700mA pack would be enough to fly most 30% bipes , I have used this size pack many times on 30 % Christen Eagle II with servos on each aileron upper and lower ,a total of 7 digital servos . Flight times of 15 minutes . You should check the batteries after each flight ,but you should get 2 or 3 flights before needing to recharge .

RE: quick question

I agree with the guys at the field.  Fly it, and enjoy it and cover and paint it this winter when you can't fly.  Covering my become necessary after a couple of flights anyway depending on the type and age of the covering.
