RE: Magic Hand 73' Yak
sorry for not updating but we flew test flew the plane yesterday and it was very tail heavy with the 2 4s 3850mah batteries right n front of the wing tube and the rec and rec batt. about 2 1/2in. b hind the wind tube so we move the 2 4s batt. forward about 3in. into the motor box just under the esc and moved the rec batt right in front on the wing tube. then today we a piece of led on the stand off on the motor and i changed form a apc e17x8 to a evolution wood 19x8 and tried it. it was much better, it still just a tad tail heavy so im going to get a 3in spinner on to get just a little more weight and i think it will b just right other than that today the plane flew very well, it very solid very smooth and quiet and i just love the plane i did fly it long on those to packs b/c the plane has good power but could use a little more for 3d, its very persice and i cant wate to fly it more

RE: Magic Hand 73' Yak
Hi Chris,
Is going to 10s an option? A little more weight with the 5s packs so you can substitute power for the lead. I did one of these planes but on 6s. I had to do 2 6s 5000's in P. to keep from adding dead weight. With my set up definitely not enough power due to the weight for 3d but was pretty good for precision flying & on 10K mah - me fly long time! |
