Is there such a thing as the "BEST HINGE" for a 1/4 or 1/3 scale model ???????? Thank you in advance.

OOPS. Got to the Sig website www.sigmfg.com and look up hinges. The 701's are their large size. I've been using them for years in 20 pound+ models. Dan.

I've been using these in my large planes if you want the flat ones. Otherwise Robart's 3/16" ones are tops.

I like the Klett 1/4 scale hinges which are pretty close to the Sig 701s mentioned above. I don't know if they are still sold but sometimes you can find packs of them at swap meets.
