NORD 2501 NORATLAS
1 Attachment(s)
Hi all!!
Since almost 2 years i try to find some source of information or even a source for plans in order to build a NORD NORATLAS. i plan something of 3m wingspan 'but i know that there aren't any plans that size avail out there. Is there anybody that ever tried to build this plane even in smaller scale? Someone who has experience o Î* tailed aircrafts? It's over 2 years now that i try to find any information and since then nothing. This is making this project more challenging since it proves that this model has never been build by nobody. It;s a shame for a plane that size and with such a history. Does any body know any source for plans? If not do you know any thread that help in order to make the plans from the real thing? I can have access to the Tech. Library and get the complete Tech. Order of the plane but i need extra info on how to make a scale set of plans out of them. Any help from you people would be very highly appreciated |
RE: NORD 2501 NORATLAS
Hi Pappy, This falls into the category of "any help" you requested. Go to this website. http://www.precisioncutkits.com/index.html. They have plans and/or a kit for the C119 "Flying Boxcar". I know it's not a Nord, but it is close. Dan.

Have you built the plane? Hi Guys , this is the one i get from a modeller this year in october. he startet this project about 30 years ago. the wingspan is 330 cm scale 1:10, it is powered electically with Plettenberg motors and 2x 10cells. it is not flown because it is much too heavy in weight, alll About Aircraft plywood with pneumatic Brakes, hydraulic retractable Landing gears light..... This guy says, he will never end this Project, because he is About 70 years old and it s too big for him now. so he asked me if iwant this for free. at this time it was not my favourite airplane |
