Fairchild 24W
I was looking at the new plans on the Wendell Hostetler's site, the Fairchild 24 R looks nice however are there any plans around for a large scale 24w?
Great radial project |
RE: Fairchild 24W
26% and 117" isn't big enough?
|
RE: Fairchild 24W
Hahaha no, no that's plenty big enough. One is a inline motor the other is a radial.

RE: Fairchild 24W
The plans are for the R & W.
The plans show both, and both cowls are available... |
RE: Fairchild 24W
I will now go back under my rock.doh
Helps if I look a bit harder. Thanks for pointing that out. I think I should order some plans.;) |
RE: Fairchild 24W
Try this on 144" wing span. Radial or ranger engine.

Wow thanks, that's a nice option.

RE: Fairchild 24W
I have the Hostetler plans. They look good to me, and I hope to begin construction in the near future.

RE: Fairchild 24W
Hi guy's,
Has anyone seen the 144" Scale Aero model built or have any more details? Regards Ross |
RE: Fairchild 24W
The plans are nice, but older in design. I considered them, but decided on the Hostetler plans.

Thanks Tom, you will have to keep us posted on your progress. If I had the time I would love to build the Luscombe Phantom.

I built the 1/4 scale by Graham Smith. Very nice flying plane and very scale just like the fullscale.
