Got an old timer from an old friend and want to make it electric. Knowing very little about this subject I am asking for some advice.
The plane is an "Old Timer" (see photo) and very big but very light.
I has/had an OS 20 four stroke that was plenty for this simple plane so what I would like is to find a set of electric parts to work. Not just one here and one there, would like it to be a complete set, motor, spd controller, all wiring intact and such so I can just install it, buy the correct battery and rx and fly.
Not looking for much power as this will be a floater easy going old gal.
Thanks.

Ok, so this not working - used to get lots of help here in the old days,,,,
So I did some digging and found a kit in similar size, shape and weight and here are the items it recommends.
1 x 3 channel or more transmitter and receiver
2 x Standard size servos for rudder and elevator
2 x Wing servos if converting to ailerons
1 x 35mm brushless outrunner of around 300W power
1 x 40A brushless ESC
1 x 3S 2200/2700mAh LiPo battery
1 x 10~12inch propeller
Now if somebody could translate this for me.. I have the receiver and spec 9 trans so the question is about the motor and esc. I states brushless motor of around 300 watts,,but looking up motors they do not mention watts and only mention volts...What brand would you suggest? And what about a BEC that is not mentioned on the list ? For the esc that info is more clear and just would like to know what brand you suggest. Again, I would like to find a kit with motor and esc and all wiring but if not so be it.
