Default Sureflite P-39 Airacobra

This is my second Sureflite conversion. It sports the following componets:
Jeti Phasor 30-3 brushless motor
APC 11X7E prop
Castle Creations Phoenix 45 ESC
Thunder Power 3S2P 4200mah Lipo pack
Berg 4 channel micro stamp receiver
Hitec HS-81 servos

I am impressed how well this big bird flies.

Here are a few Pictures.

How big and heavy, etc. Neat airplane, you don't see many P-39s.

Joe,

Great looking conversion! Thanks for sharing.

Do you have any air flow around the motor after it is sealed up?

The hole for the steerable nose gear also serves as an intake for cooling air. The removeable front cowl piece on the right side has a small slit in it to aid in cooling also. How effective this is, I'm not sure. However what I find strange is that the Jeti motors are completely sealed, having no openings at all for cooling. After flying for about 8 minutes(still breaking in brand new Lipo packs) the batteries and motor feel just a little warm.[8D]

Here are some new pictures of my Airacobra with split flaps. They really help[img][/img] haul down this plane for less stressfull landings.
