Default Gas to electric Lazy Bee conversion?

Currently flying a Bee with .15 OS. Lots of fun but out of places to fly locally. Wish to convert to electric and floats. Good water sites nearby. Can anyone give advice on motor, gearbox (if needed) and battery combinations that would work? Thank you...

Default RE: Gas to electric Lazy Bee conversion?

I've been flying my 10 year old LB with an Astro 05G on eight cells on both land and water. Today I'd go for a brushless equivalent (8-10 cell motor) and definitely with gearing as speed isn't the issue with the Bee.
