Default Tower Hobbies Uproar Conversion

Has anyone tried to convert the Tower Hobbies Uproar to elec.? It has a 48" ws with 578 sq" wa and a flying wt of approx 4.5 lbs using a 40 cu" engine. I have an AXI 2826/12 that will trun a 13x7 prop on 14 cells for planes up to 79 oz. Will this system using a 4s Lipo pack work? I have cut the firewall off and am trying to calculate how much farther foreward the location of the motor and Lipo pack must be to keep the CG the same as the glow version. Thanks in advance for any thoughts R/C Punk

Actually, it sounds like you're well on your way to a nice flying sport plane. It won't be 3D or anything like that, but it ought to be impressive.

A club mate had one. He was using a Jeti Phasor 30/3 with a TP 3s2p pack that fit into the fuel tank compartment. Flew nice.
