Brad,
Sorry about that.
If you find the thread, just add on another post and it will come to the top. I will then see it, I usually scan all the RC sites.

Thanks Brad,
I'm still thinking, not sure I want the project now, perhaps later in the winter. I looked at your links, your build info is really a big help.

Sorry, I no you are at mercy with the weather. I here the weather back east is very mild. I am originally from Long Island,NY and my family are all still back there. They said it was 70 on Saturday. It was 55 here in AZ. I don't remember it being 70 in January to often when I lived there. We are almost done with painting, invasion stripes came out great. we are almost done with the booms and then we have to work on the nose art. Trying to find a good pix of the california cutie since we are going with that look. I will get more pix up soon. Mike

Well, after some time, I'm almost ready to tear into this plane.
I now have a scale full body pilot, gear (electric), radio parts, a servo-slow for the gear, and engines for her.
I will assemble the booms permently on the center section and cut the wings, out board of the booms, and section them with carbon fiber wing tubes. Retracts will be used. This will keep her on her gear.
I'm looking forward to the challenge. Lots of info here to help along the way.
Thanks for all the time everyone has taken to document what they have done.
Gary

Hey Mike, saw some pics of you and the bird in the new MAN, I think it was. Looking good.
Al, I'm so dang far behind on maidens. Hangar 9 Sopwith( one flight), Hangar 9 P40, Polk AC47, a T33, a Blitz, F20 Tigershark, 2 more smaller 38's, and the big muther herself are all virgins.
Going to be a good spring, if it ever gets here. [&:]
Gary, welcome and best of luck, keep us posted.

Brad thats me putting the p-38 on the flight line. I know you are into the hangar 9 planes like me, just finished converting the hangar 9 t-34. I put a hacker a50-10s swinging a 13x 8 prop on 5s. The plane screams and is a blast to fly. I put their tricycle retracts in and they work great. A friend of mine put a gyro on the rudder of the sopwith camel to help with the ground handling. Works pretty good.

Mike,
Congrads on getting married.
Could you get the info on the gyro for the Sopwith, all the details of the install, because I have one sitting in a box to be completed after the C-130.
Thanks
Al
