Somethin Extra Conversion
 

I'm in the process of building a Sig Somethin Extra for use with a brushless motor. Although I have many electric planes with Brushless motor (mostly outrunners), I have recently come to the conclusion that BL motors used with the correct gearbox are more efficient and perform better. I'm not concerned at all with the noise from the gearbox. Hobby Lobby has a great sale on right now and it's tempting to buy one of thir large AXI motors but I think that a geared setup is even better on a model as heavy as the Something Extra. I'm looking for some help with ideas on BL motors with a gearbox for this size application. Any help would be appreciated.
