Suggestions ?

I want to convert a .40 sized edge to electric. Right now it weighs 6 pounds with a .50 engine on it, and runs a 12X4 prop. I want good 3D preformance. Any suggestions for motor, esc, battery, and prop ?

Thanks Bob

RE: Suggestions ?

Hey Bob,

The title of your thread said "suggestions" so I thought I'd give you one. Buy Nuveen Municipal Income Fund #4, it pays 6% per year, federal tax free, dividends are payable monthly at .054 per share. So, if you buy 1000 shares at the current price per share of 12.60, it will cost 12,600 and you will get 54 dollars per month dividend income.

To go one step further, you can take that 54 bucks and buy a HImodel 3520-7 electric motor and it will be part of what you need. Wait a few months more, collect the dividends, and you will be able to buy the 5S lipo packs and 60 amp ESC (electronic speed control) to finish the power system. Props may be somewhat of a research and development project, start with a 11x7 electric prop and see what happens.

Hope I helped with providing suggestions. If you decide to keep the nitro motor in your plane, you will still get the monthly dividend on the investment.

You don't have to thank me now, just knowing that I gave you two good suggestions will be thanks enough.

Al

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll look into the setup you describe. I think I'll skip on the stock though. (HA HA)

Thanks Bob
