Need High Speed Needle Valve for Fox Eagle 1 .61 Engine
Hi Guys,
I'm hoping that somebody will have a source for this. I called Fox they no longer make the part and have none in inventory. I'm looking for the high speed needle Part Number 24064. I bought the engine at a swap meet and neglected to notice that both the high and low speed needles were missing. (Dope!) I managed to find the low speed needle in stock at my local hobby shop in their old Fox parts boxes. Fox will sell me a new carb for $50.00 but I only paid $35 for the engine, so I really hate to invest that much in the engine without knowing if it will run.
If anybody knows of a Fox dealer who may have parts I would appreciate the lead.
Thanks,
Andy

Which carb do you have? The old butterfly carb, or the two needle MK X carb?
It would give us an idea as to what to go look for.
The #24064 part number seems to correspond to a MK X carb for a Fox 15 Schneurle engine. Which has me wondering if that is the correct part or not. But maybe it works, I never tried it though.
If you have the MKX carb, the needle for the Fox 40, 45, and 50 engines would also work on the Eagle I MK X carb too.

Ok in my parts lists, it is a 26064 part number for the high speed needle on the Fox 40,45, and 50 engines. The Eagle I, II, III, and IV all use the same needle valve too.

That was the part number that Sharon at Fox gave me so I ordered it. I'll know for sure once I get it and I try to install it in the engine.
Thanks for your help. I looked on eBay last week bud did not find that part number.
Thanks again for your timely assistance.
Here are some pictures of my carb.

Here is someone selling what they think is a 26064 needle valve on ebay:

But it doesn't look right in the picture as it looks like the old buttefly carb needle valve to me.
Yeah your pics show a Fox MK X carb.

Here is the parts list for the Fox engines from 1989 on, this is for the Fox .60 and .74 Schnuerle Eagles.
Note that they all use the same MK X carb and needle valves. There was a different size bore carb for the tuned pipe version back then.
here is the parts list for a late model Fox Hawk 60 with the MK X carb, probaby 1980's vintage.

You are welcome.
I forgot about it but here they have lots of Fox engine manuals http://web.archive.org/web/200505100...com/index.html
including the Fox Eagle I engine. When you look at the manual, it shows the same part number for the MK X carb that the other 60 and 74 engines use too.
