Happy birthday. You have my full support. I have a pile of engines sitting here ready to go like that too but I doubt todays weather will be good enough, maybe.

Is that an OS 60H, or 80H, in the lower right of pic 3? I have an 80H, but I need the carb manifold. I think the 60 and 80 use the same part. do you have a source for parts for them?
Thanks.
Sincerely, Richard

Thanks fellas! It's in the mid-40s and my wife took me to lunch. Good time to load up some stuff and go burn some nitro.
Richard - it's an 80-H. I got it in a box of stuff another RCU member sent me awhile back. Not sure if it will run - ring seems to be in rough shape and compression is low. I'll video the attempt anyway. Actually, I'll be making a bunch of engine vids today.

If you choose to get rid of the 80H, please let me know. Thanks.

Thanks Barry!
Ill need to to edit the videos some. I only ended up running my Jett .56 and Enya 46-4C to get them broken in. The Jett was a little challenging to get setup just right, but the Enya ran awesome. The ring seated quickly and has phenomenal compression. It peaks about 10,500rpm on a 10x6 APC on 80/20 true FAI fuel which is my break-in brew. Next up will be adding some nitro to the mix to see what she'll do. Waiting on an email back from Dub Jett about the .56 to figure out why it was acting goofy on me. I ran out of time to run anything else but I'm gonna try to sneak back out in the next few days to run the 46-4C some more and maybe get the Jett dialed in. The Jett did turn a 9x6 at close to 19k today.
Videos to come soon. Will post links when they're uploaded.

Anyone burning any nitro these days? I went yesterday and flew for a good 4 hours. Man, it felt good to get out. I realized that I didn't do too bad this winter. I burnt 3 gal. of fuel. That's pretty good for winter in the north east.

Airplane, are we talking airplanes here? I don't see his airplane! Could be his Sportster was a plane, or maybe a bike. We ALL need to get out flying with a plane (No, not a Hudson Terraplane either).

However, back to the subject at hand - airplanes. Yup, been burning nitro pretty much all winter. Matter of fact, I'm down to just 2 gallons from 9 in October. Actually got a chance to fly on Easter. Family's all elsewhere in the world and my other half suggested I take a couple planes out - so I did.
It's nice to have an understanding other half.

sure, my wife says to me all the time, why don't you grab a couple of planes And go. and me, I'm not one to argue. Haha. Wow 7 gallons is a lot more die hard than I am. I've always been slightly envious of the guys down south who have nice weather year round

This is the Tiger I meant, that other one is a beaut too. It's wearing a very early high compression, 15.0 to 1, compression ratio Saito .80. The thing flies like its on rails. One of my faves. I can lose the nose weight with the twin.
