OS .65AX over priming?????
So, I've run about a gallon thru my new .65AX that's mounted sideways on a Kaos .60. Here's my question/issue. When 1st breaking in the engine, I could EASILY hand start it from cold within 2 flips. The problem I am now having is that for the 1st start of the day, it is requiring an electric starter. I can't even get a pop by hand. I've tried priming like normal and also not priming.....same result. It takes several seconds with the starter to get going. At first, it sounds almost bogged down before it clears out a bit and runs smoothly. Every time I pick the plane up steeply etc. fresh fuel will run out of the muffler. It has a 3 line tank setup so I'm wondering if the engine is getting over primed somehow??????????
After the 1st start of the day, I can start it by hand on the 1st flip while the engine is hot without any issues. I'd like to not have to carry that starter around anymore as I start all my other engines by hand as well.
Thoughts???

The tank is probably too high for the sideways mounting. Put a clamp or forceps on the carb line and pressure line while the engine isn't running and tank is full to prevent fuel from syphoning into the muffler or carburetor.

Thanks for the reply..............it makes sense. The tank is mounted quite high in the fuse as there is only 1 place for it. Also, I think where I have been flying just about every single day, I haven't been emptying the tank out at the end of the day either lately. I will try a couple things and see if that doesn't resolve things. It is a real sweet runner though.....especially after I hollowed out the baffle to let it breath better!!!!
