Default OS Alpha series four stroke - side/inverted mounting

Good morning. Per the title of the thread, I’m trying to see if anyone who has run an OS Alpha-series four stroke has encountered any issues – whether mounted upright, horizontally, or inverted.

If you have direct knowledge, or indirect knowledge I’d interested to know what the results were.

I run mostly OS 4 strokes inside of cowls, and the reduced mess of the Alpha series has me very interested. However, I’ve recently heard that the BLUE valve cover Alpha series may run into issues when mounted and run in the horizontal position, as they cannot expel the crankcase oil since there isn’t an external breather. The newer BLACK valve cover Alpha series (.56II & .72II) have been updated to include a breather nipple on the engine back plate, which might indicate a OS thought there might be an issue attempted to address it

Hoping folks on here can add their experience.
