Default What are HoBao Turbo engines

Hello all,

This may seem like a silly question but I can't find any info on the differences between a normal vs Turbo HoBao engines. I believe their Hyper .21 and .28 come in both variants and I can see them selling different 'Alum Burn Room' for Turbo and Standard.

Also, can they be converted from one to another?

Any info would be greatly appreciate. Thanks.

Hi!
I think the only difference is that the turbo version uses "turbo" glow plugs (with angled seat) and the standard version uses ordinary glow plugs.

Thanks. Yes I've just realised it's a common term across Nitro engines, not just HoBao. Turbo are the glow plugs with tapered heads and thus do not require washers.
