Default YS120 smoke muffler question

I have a Slimline pitts style smoke muffler for a YS-120 installed on my Saito 125 (same thread-compatible). The smoke muffler has a pressure tap for the internal smoke coil, but no tap for fuel pressure. There is a threaded bolt for a mounting strap to bolt to the engine mounting lugs - can that be replaced with a pressure tap and used for muffler pressure for the fuel vent line? It is threaded and goes all the way into the muffler chamber but is located near the exhaust tubes.

All you can do is try it. Some 4 stroke muffler have the tap near the exhaust side others near the header side. Iwould think the pressure would be equal throughout the whole expansion chamber
