Glow plug threads are 1/4 X 32 which is a special American thread size. Harry Higgly has the taps available because they are almost impossible to find using the usual hardware sources.

Tower Hobbies have these taps and dies. I have both of these, I use the die most often to ensure that the plug thread is true and won't cause problems when installed in the engine. Sometimes a new glow plug will have a rough spot that can cause problems when installing, screwing it into a die will correct this and reduce problems with ruined glow plug threads.

If the threads are ruined Clarance Lee in California can install a heli-coil in the head if it is sent to him. He advertises in the classified in RCM every month.

You can probably buy a new magnum engines head for less than the cost of sending it off and having a heli-coil installed.
I don't know about re-tapping it as the glow plug hole is probably oversized as a consequence of stripping it out.
