Default burnt out glowplugs

I have a torq 21 engine on my axis. It burns glowplugs. I went over a mud puddle and the engine died on me. I took the engine apart and cleaned it with alcohol and put it back together. It didn't start. I eventually tried a new plug and it did start up. Once the engine turned off I tried to start it again and my plug was bad. What could cause this problem. Is there still dirt in my engine or did I not re assemble it correctly.

I would think so , but it just started all of the sudden to be a problem without adjusting the needles.
