os. 50 new carb.????
Should I buy an os 60B carb for 135.00 or a new engine for 189.00. What would be the best choise. I'm really tired of my actual engine. It gives me nothing but trouble. If it is the 60B carb, can I use any of the models available. I found at rick's Helis 3 different 60B carb models available.
I would really appreciate your comments.
Thanks
Carlos

RE: os. 50 new carb.????
Carlos,
60B is the wrong carb. type for your O.S.50, since it uses the 40B type carb. (o.s. part number : 25681010)
Now, you can fit a Super Tigre carb on your O.S. 50, but you may need to take out the carb spacer (25281140) that is fitted in the crankcase, probably you may need to heat the crankcase with a propane torch.
BUt, what is your problem with your engine?
Chances are that maybe is not the carb.
Saludos Hermano!

Hi Tiroloco. All of the guys from runryder told me to buy a 60Bcarb for my O.S.50. You can check it out at this URL:

You need to do the same thing for the Supertigre carb. I'm a bit confused.
Gracias por la ayuda.

Dont u think to buy a brandnew 80 engine of a carb price?Go to www.kangkeusa.com. it is 70$ for a ringed SK 80 and 50$ for a SK 52.
I just purchased a 80 today and seems a good engine visually.
