I need more power on my OS FX46. What brand of mini tuned pipe or Ultrathrust muffler should I get?

I used the Ultrathrust and picked up 1K with it. While pleased I have heard the Tower muffler comes close and it's way cheaper.

What's your application? Have you tried other props and nitro % ?

Pete, I have a Hangar 9 Aresti 40. Pattern plane. I need extra 20% increase power. i was runnign std muffler and 15% NITRO ON 11X6 PROP. because of some advises I just bought and performance muffler from Jettengines, will try 10x7 or 11x5 prop and 20% Nitro. I will try all thin on saturday. what do you think?

If you want vertical performance, try a APC 12.25 X 3.75 prop. It what all the 3D guys use.

Jim is on track also try the APC 11.5x4 it spooled up better for me on my setup. Either should get you going in the right direction.

built you a mouse can muffler for it. Will increase RPMS from 1000-2000RPM depending on what prop your using, but it will definetly give you a 20% power increase for less than $30
