Nils do you have any pictures of the Saito 3c radial in your corsair, as I am planning on using that motor on my corsair.

Hey Nils, some pages ago I posted the links on two videos I made, showing two of my 7A engines. In the first video

http://rcuvideos.com/account/videos/...4SD52Z7HWPXR80

You can see and hear the impressive idle quality of this little engine. The second video

http://rcuvideos.com/item/D27YM7P88M672Q35

shows the first flight of my new Vellie Monocoupe. I'm really convinced of these little engines!

I never noticed any degradation when I ran my ASP 400 but now you have me worried. I suppose when I have time I shall do a teardown and inspection.

The technopower for sure is a great engine ! nice videos. I just have to find one for sale... Are there any stores or companies that sells them ,or is it best to buy them from their web site?

I will post some pictures of my corsair when i comes home next week.

Nils, I think it will be quite difficult to get one, look at the posts some six or seven pages before, some people are waiting several years for a Technopower without getting it. I purchased a 7A and a 7B engine about 8 weeks ago from Technomodell Nuolen in Swizerland, may be these two were the last new engines for sale for some time. Perhaps You should try to contact somebody from the MECA, perhaps they can help. First I was thinking over to sell one of my engines again, but now I'm no longer sure about that.

And You should ask somebody about the Technopower history, William knows a lot about it, only the newer engines are practical enough for flying.

I see , maybe you should sell one of them to me or maybe i should go for the ASP 400 which i can buy within a month for a total of 720 Euro delivered to Norway, that is cheap i think. It is a different engine though ..but there is lots of decisions to take here ,guess i will come up with something sooner or later
Anyway ,i dont want to wait for years for a TP.

Well, You have to make up Your mind concerning whow big and powerfull Your radial powered model should be. The TP 7A will power models up to a maximum of 4Kg, my Vellie Monocoupe weighs 3.5Kg and needs about 50 meters for take off, maximum climb angle is about 30 degrees. I also have a 4.8Kg Polikarpov PO2 bipe with a 7B engine that flies very scale, so to say with few power.
If You want a good powered 2 meter bipe with normally more than 5Kg, then the ASP is the better choice for sure. By the way, I didn't sell one of the TPs because I must have 1,800.- Euro for it.

I think after the latest discoveries of the Chinese engines quallity, You can cure this problem with coating the cam rings, tappets and crank pin with dicronite plus and a complete check with valve grinding and so on before the first run.

Sorry, I thought I e-mailed you about it. I now have 5 flights on the stearman, flies great. More than enough power in fact will fly on 3 cylinders. 20x10 prop is probably too big since I am loosing cylinders in the air. Going to try a 19x8. I don't have a flying field at present since the county closed our old one and it will be a few weeks till the new one opens. Will try and get some video then. Marvin
Marvin, did you ever get any video of your ASP400 powered Stearman? Sure would like to see/hear it.

Interesting times here in the classified section.

6 Radials for sale right now...

Robart R780 W/ring and driver $3500
OS FR5-300 $1650
Saito FA-325R5 W/Keleo Ring $1400
Saito FA-170R3 W/Keleo Ring $850
Saito FA-450R3 $950
Saito FA-450R3 w/driver $850

I'm trying to get that Robart... New photo attached of the collection. (Added a Saito FA-450R3, OS FR5-300, Seidel ST-770 and ST-540, but still no Robart or morton).

Did anyone notice the Seidel ST-710 and ST-726 that sold with BIN dirt cheap on eBay.de??

Steve, I want you to produce a video. Mount all your engines, start them all, run them up and down while filming it.

LOL! Thanks KMOT, but I have better idea. What about strapping them to the front of my Honda, weld on some wings and drive off of something (like a cliff).
On second thought, maybe I should mount them in the rear and use pusher-props.... When I crash, all of the engines won't get smushed!

Hi Sonnich

What Kit did you get? Is it the Aeroworks one? Can you let me know who you ordered it through and some indication of the delivered cost?
I have enquired about getting one but many USA companys do not like dealing outside the USA. I would love to fly my ASP400 (once I re assemble it) in an ARF as I know it will be quite some time before I get a scratch build model ready.
Cheers
Seb

Hi Seb

Dont get it were I bought mine. It took 4 months and lots of emails to get it.
Shipping cost are pretty high since there are 2 large boxes.

This plane is from Jamara, and is with a german instructions set. But it is the exact same plane from Aeroworks USA.......same chineese manufacturer.

Ill see if I can find some other links to german shops for the kit.

HHAHA.....it sounds awesome.

Just fired it up, and it started VERY easy once fuel was drawn into the cylinders.
I had to turn the engine/plane upside down while chocking it, otherwise the fuel would just run onto the ground. But after the first priming, it started well several times after that

My video does not do it any justice. The sound quality is just nowhere near what it sounds like in real life.......

Anyway, Im very happy
