Default OS 160 4 Stroke Twin

Would an OS 160 4S Twin be too much engine for a Sterling Stearman PT 17 kit?
Thanks, KRC

what sized engine would it take to start with, one problem would be the cowel. would the heads fit in?

I am putting a OS1.6 flat twin in a P-26, that calls for a 1.2 single and the twin fits inside the cowel. its about a 10 to 12 lb. plane

they say the 1.6 flat twin puts out about the same power as a 1.2 single.

if you could give a little more on the size of the plane , that would help.

getting back to the original question, the Sterling Stearman is about a .50-.60 sized two stroke glow. I'd say you are going to be way overpowered and way overweight with a twin 4 stroke engine.

Hi!
agree!
It would be way way to much power and too heavy!
