Welcome to Club SAITO !

Actually VP sells it for about the same price by the single gallon, much cheaper in 5 gallons. Just a little over $40 a gallon.

Actually I wear Kangaroo hide shoes from Cabela's, so far the ACE 4-40 is a featherweight, the Big Bingo is a different story, it weighs a ton. Right now I'm assembling a Sig LT 40 for a Saito .50. Cutting the cowl for the cylinder was no fun. I am going to need to be an acrobat to get the Cowl back on with the TurboHeader in place.

I got a good look at that high compression FA-91S yesterday it really is NIB and he has a lot of documentation on it. Nice find but I don't have the coin, if anyone else is interested PM and I'll pass you information along.

Dave hah hah but i gotta tell ya something..kangaroos are mostly beige or grey, and on the colour spectrum and reflectance scale grey is just screaming out to be beige,or it should be,awful colours.Ok we got some 'big boomers' that are red and sable but you don't wanna see one of those unhappy and close up.Roos and koalas ain't what you would call sociable with humans and on a bad day it takes the cute bambi syndrome right out of the encounter, guess we're lucky they chew heaps of gum leaves.
I know you ar'nt a fan of inverted saitos but as you know it eases exhaust mounting problems, specially if you got skinny fingers!

I have a Big Bingo built up except the fuse. What engine do you think it needs as a minimum, and what engine for mild aerobatics? Thank you.
Re the Farmall, I passed by the site it was showing and it was not there. Maybe because it was raining hard? I will keep looking for it to reappear and get pics of it for you..
Very best regards to you and yours. Sincerely, Richard

Maybe, but I have never seen a speed shop that sells fuel. Summit and Jegs do not sell fuel, at least not from their web site. Racetracks, and sometimes a side business of a gasoline fuel company is all I have seen. At one time there was a company located right next to a local dirt oval track
near Woodstock, GA that sold fuel but I believe they closed their doors.

Richard, my Saito 1.30 was slated for the Big Bingo but I had to sell it, so I have a choice between a Saito 1.50 and a SuperTigre 2300 or 3000. I would rather put the Saito 1.50 on a Goldberg Tiger 120. The 3000 is converted to Diesel so would do the job and then some. I think a 1.50 or larger is the best choice. The 2300 runs big for it's size so it would suit.
Yep, I grew up on a bunch of Farmalls.
CR, some of those props are from when I was 14 years old in 1956.

Inverted Saito can b a nightmare if one doesn't follow the manufacturers initial needle settings on my beast FA180.
I did that plus added a Perry pump which I attached to the firewall.
It has started every time. Never floods. Just make sure u prime it by turning the prop few times with finger on exhaust to draw fuel. I always use a el. Starter.
I also used a prop hub over the lock nuts instead of a spinner until the engine is tamed.
NOTE: DON'T RUN IT LEAN AS IT BACKFIRES AND THROWS PROPS...

There always a few hanging around our club . If I get there 1st there could be 20 or so around the gate . I always keep an eye out but theres not too many big ones thankfully . I bet you have the ol kangaroo knacker-bag coin purse ! Makes one feel better when ones own is old , wrinkly and shriveled up . Cheers the pope
The non believer neighbor at the end off the field fired his shotgun once and hit one of the overflying planes. Put holes in it but didn't knock it down. The flyer called the police and they talked to the shooter. We did have a no-fly zone over the shooters house, but it was hard to stay clear. He later moved.
I have a lead on an armadillo hat, but none on a kangaroo knacker-bag coin purse. How do I get one? They would make a good combination for field day.
Best regards, Richard
