I'm the right guy but sometimes I get notionsome, as Festus Hagen would say and do strange things. I borrowed the carb from my Tartan 1.34. The 1.50 was already CDI'd thanks to Dan.

I hope you fellers don't mind my mentioning a Saito. I adapted a ZAMA gasoline carb from a TARTAN 1.34 onto my Saito 1.50. If the crankcase pulses will operated the pump, it will work. The strategically placed 2/56 screw stops the throttle at precisely fully open.

Always good for a laugh or three.
The other day I asked my daughter what she did with her sock. She pointed out the window to a stick in the ground and there was her sock. She told me she made me a windsock for my birthday.

hi guys
we have a satio fg-14c on a arrow 55 biplane we never could get the engine to run on a consistent idle ,the fuel tank and line are right no air leaks tight fittings close to the fire walland in line with the carb adjusted the valves and the hi - low needle ,thanks ron

LSN is most likely too lean. Also make sure you have the right size prop, too small a prop can affect the idle in the gas engine. One other thing to check is the filter screen, you pull the cover off the carb and there is a screen in there. there could have been some gunk in the tank that got sucked in to the carb and cause some blockage.

thanks ill try new size prop and we did check the carb for blockage before all cleared ,one more thing i forgot to say was it will not prime with the flipping of the prop i have to blow into the vent line to get it to prime ,thanks

I take it this is a new engine. If so it takes quite some time before everything starts to work properly. Run a few 12 ounces tanks through it and it will start running and priming better.

I honestly dont know how this is supposed to work with the listed engines unless the exhaust is on the left of the engine.

EDIT, OK I looked for a 120 and found the FG30B which is the 180 case and found the exhaust comes out the rear, so this is the correct muffler for the 120, 150 and 180.
