This would be my choice in red, the Softail Classic, the one above that you showed is not finished, at 637 pounds it's not heavy at all. My brothers 1989 Electra Glide Sport is heavy at about 870. Even it is a feather weight to get off of the stand.
That 114 cubic inch Saito has 137 foot pounds of torque, it should go pretty good.
Pete, I am going to stick my neck out and send him a 100 dollar bill, chancy, I know, but hopefully it will be successful.

Where did that figure come from, the one Pete pictured is $21,00.00 and the Classic I showed is $19,000.00.
The full sized Road King is $19,289.00.

Checkmate!! unless gary's engine was still using points
Dave the starting price of 35,000 is aus dollars the article with the harley pic is out of an australian motorcycle magazine. With harleys adventure off road bike joining and competing with the the established jap and european market leaders it's going to be a tough ask for them. All the competition like ktm, bmw, suzuki, ducati etc have about 150hp that they try and make contollable for the average off road pilot with six axis ecu for traction control/cornering abs/electronic suspension, engine mapping modes for rain (softer power delivery) street, sport, race you name it all adjustable on the fly via the left and right switch blocks. That's the reason i said they are heavy because they have long travel suspension for ground clearance off road and all that weight is carried far higher up between the axles,in effect they are very top heavy. Not to worry most of them stick to the tar because these bike are very expensive to drop and nobody wants to get them all dusty here.Did i mention that the 500 dollar set of wide block off road tyres don't last very long if you like to rip 150hp through that small contact patch at the rear?
ps good luck with the money.

Jim, Are you really looking for a Saito FA-1.15 ?
I found one locally that is absolutely new, un-run and in the box with all papers, tools and parts. He wants $165. Let me know if you are interested.

Jim et al, this is Great Granddaughter Brooklyn and I almost 3 years ago, she's helping me study for a Christmas play in which she starred as Baby Jesus, manger and all. She lives in Marshfield, Mass. now. We had her for a year. PS, I sprung for the Saito 120 triple.

Those Keleo rings are darn near a "must have" with the Saito radials. Not sure who is actually making them now. Adrian is selling them and IIRC he was selling from Keleo stock when I bought one for my 170 R3. He said that once the stock was sold that he would be making the rings.
I am picking up a brand new , old stock FA-90R3 this week to go with the FA-170R3. IIRC , it takes the same ring as the 120.
Take care that there is zero stress on each of the three runners. Any latent stress can lead to a tube or weld failure down the road.
Okay, I'm off to pop some corn. Looks like home movies are about to start.

Saito gents, I stripped the Saito 120-S DP down to it's fighting weight, I removed the CHI and the pump. It's unrun so far. DMRC wanted to know what it ran like stone stock. I am going to put an hour on it then go for full blatt. The prop will be about 3 different 15x8's. A new Graupner Sonic, old Graupner gray and a new style Master Airscrew.

BTW, Without the pump system , they aren't "stone stock"

Ignore the can of 5% after run alcohol
I know most people think that the stock saito garbage can muffler looks average, until you look at what OS mufflers look like.I like keleo rings on saito radials they sound mint dave.Gary i'll post a pic of a later? model kelio ring on my fa200r3,it's tigged up out of very soft ally so you can put a phillips screwdriver tip down the mouth of the one header that needs a slight tweak so you can hand screw all the header threads in by hand.
ps do any of you guys get the engine running on some good 40% nitro and turn the shed lights off?

Bejeezuz mate she's better lookin than svetlana kapanina who is many times world aerobatic champion, she's from russia look her up on you tube. She does a tv interview describing how russian women are not just pretty but must be able to put out the house fire or catch the running horse. The in cockpit footage of a real pro is well worth watching.

Fedex is bringing mine today, usually about 10:30 am. We're having some heavy rain at the moment, some wind but not bad yet. There are about 50 campers and boats at our local grocery store. People got them away from the beaches.

BTW: I have two FA-120 SDP and both are still wearing the pumps. In fact I just bought 4 more pump sets. One is on my FA-150 in the Rascal 110. You can run the vent line as far as your heart desires

BTW, that pic was taken on our 35th anniversary. I was doing wedding photography on week ends and for grins she put on the old gown for a pic.
