Is this a good twin onboard glow driver? or is there any other better?
Sonic Tronics Inc /...

I don't really like to use them, but for the first couple of tanks that i run, i like to have an assurance on my low end.

This will build into a Saito 325 , five cylinder radial. The dual plug version. Should be just right for a Travelaire Mystery Ship.
hey Gary, good going, you got to get a video of it once you get it running !!!

hey Gary, I just had a thought for that radial. I bet no one has done it yet. you should build a model of the Phoenix. have it all scaled out with the men on the wings holding on for their lives . that would be pretty cool

I love it! Are you going to video it on the test stand? What fuel mixture are you going to use?

So Jim are you voting for him to paint it pink? How about lime green or bright orange or yellow instead?

Rafeeki it takes a gallon or more fuel through a saito 200r3 before it will idle for long periods.

Capt if you use small stainless washers under the bolts it stops the bolt from twisting up the paint.

Jim, looks like pink is the new go to colour when painting a saito!... probably put those antsy fancy dandy black and gold GK"s in the shade for a while

Gary a friend flew a large stearman with an fa325 with all five flex pipes gathered down low. Sounded like a bloody singer sewing machine. Some short curved stub exhausts or a keleo style ring?

orange and yellow with black rocker covers, then you would call it "the Yellow Jacket"

That will be a real jewel of a "fixer upper", a great find.

I got to admit I'm amazed at what Jesse finds and what the final result is to his restoration effort. It's pure poetry in motion! Hats off and a salute to your talents!

I would love a radial for a Corsair or P-47, but already have enough projects for the near future.

Face it a repainted used Saito of any color beats a new in the box of any other brand! Obviously this is an unimpeachable unbiased opinion!

Im liking it, but i haven't been able to run it but 1 time on my driveway, i'm going to mess with it tomorrow saturday, will need the remote glows, glow ignitors wont fit due to the direction of the glow plugs on the head, they are pointing towards the firewall.
