The mods are probably breathing easier. They had an alarm that texted them every time he logged in, and were ready to delete his posts before we all saw them.

I got an email from Pete he continues to monitor the thread. I still miss his irreverent banter if he gives the Mods an ulcer. He wrote:

Hi Mike i watch the forum every day and loved your joke about how that pesky canada countryside jumps up at our aeroplanes so much the fires are well and truly over but now we've all got the corona thing coming. Every middleclass bogun (bit of a ratbag) where i live knows damn well you won't catch it if you drink corona beer but you better buy it in bulk fast, there's a rumour corona's manufacturer is sensitive about the trade name association with the covid19 epidemic and will rename it EBOLA. Love their sense of humour.

Oh My Goodness
Copy and paste worked twice from the chrome book. Short landing boo boo and taxi of a Saito FA 70 R running nitro with a ch spark ignition at our field last Saturday. NO J3'S Gary.
Give yourself a laugh guys! The banter at the end is worth the view.
Thanks for the uploading help folks!

I have a warbird I'd love to put that in Crunchy. If you can't find a plane for it I have a wonderful home for it here.

I also need/want a 72.

Oh, and I have a 56 that needs a good home. Would you believe a stable 1800 rpm idle? That's pretty low on an engine this small. It'll spin the same apc 12x6 at 10200 as well. I've had several 56 engines, this one tops the others on both ends.

Capt, "not a war plane" ummm, I will have to think on that one for you, but at this moment the only thing that comes to mind is the 4 Star 120.

BTW, I still have to send you those engines, I have a 3rd one for you..

How about a Bud Nosen Cessna 310G? Its not a warbird and I think two 150s would work quite well.

yeah that is one of my favorite airplanes.
but I don’t know if I have the inspiration errr mental capacity to take the time too build such a Beautiful plane.
I like building none specific planes like Astro hogs and four stars. You don’t have to be so critical about appearance.

When I was a teen looking through all those RC mags, The 310 was my favorite. I always thought it was a Byron, but probably something else. Byron was known for ducted fans, like the F-86 and Mig 17 back then.
